Developing gradually, the company modernized and expanded its truck fleet. RENAULT MAJOR 340 which was purchased from the official RENAULT dealer in Ukraine in 2001 has become the first tractor in the company:

Later in 2003 the company moved to its own site in Porichkova Street, Lviv, and RENAULT MAGNUM with the high-power American engines Mac and semitrailers KRONE were added to the truck fleet: 

In 2004 Sarmat opens its office in Shevchenka Street, Lviv and exploits already 8 modern road-trains RENAULT MAGNUM with the curtain-sided vehicles KRONE and SCHMITZ, which comply with the environmental standards EURO-2 and conducts transportations throughout Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland. 

The company starts the freight forwarding activity direction – we started rendering the freight forwarding services throughout Europe. 

We were licensed as the customs carrier which allowed us conducting the transportation of excisable and valuable goods of our customers without any customs security. 

In 2006 the company changed its business model – it became the partner. It allowed surviving the 2008 crisis, preserving the company stability and even expanding its activity. 

Since 2007 Sarmat conducts not only the activity of international carrier and forwarding agent but also deals with the foreign economic, trading, and investment activity.

Sarmat won a tender and for the first time since the independence restoration imported 22 trams Tatra DE4 to Ukraine. All of them successfully run along the Lviv streets till now. 

In 2008 on demand of State Concern “Ukroboronprom” Sarmat started conducting the transportation of armaments to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. 

2009 was quite tough for Sarmat. The world financial crisis reached Ukraine – the banks, companies went bankrupt, the amount of international trading decreased dramatically. Many international road carriers quitted the market, however, Sarmat continued its activity. 

On 6 August 2010 the best driver, professional, loyal friend, loving father and son, airborne raider, just a great person – Bohdan Zayats died tragically. He was the first partner and friend of the company Andriy Fedorenko.

In 2011 Sarmat successfully continues the activity of international road carrier and forwarding agent and conducts the investment activity. Its work resulted in building a new modern Master-Park Trade and Exhibition Complex in Lypynsky Street, Lviv. 

Diversification of Sarmat’s activity directions allowed successful business operation in 2012. 

In 2013 SARMAT TRANSPORTATION COMPANY moves to the new address in 3 Pymonenka str., Lviv, which provides even better conditions for the activity of staff and vehicles servicing. 

During 2014 SARMAT TRANSPORTATION COMPANY renovates again. Purchase of new powerful traction vehicles RENAULT MAGNUM, which comply with the ecological requirements EURO-5, allowed entering the new lines – cars with Sarmat logo started conducting transportations not only from Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland but from Germany, Belgium, Netherlands!
